Pilates-Based Physical Therapy
Mischa developed the Pilates-Based Physical Therapy Program (PBPT) at InsideOut Body Therapies in 2006 as a way to help others heal through movement. Mischa, a former dancer and lifelong movement enthusiast, believes that healing is grounded in the moving body. She believes that the whole person — not just an injury or symptom — must be considered when facilitating both fitness and rehabilitation.
As a Pilates teacher and Physical Therapist, Mischa blends her knowledge of both disciplines in her work with her clients. She empowers her clients by deepening their bodily awareness and understanding. This approach creates autonomy and helps them move healthfully and with ease.
Mischa believes that ANYONE can do Pilates with guidance and good instruction. Pilates helps us feel better and facilitates our ability to live the life we envision.
“Change happens through movement and movement heals.” ~J. Pilates
